The three-hour class includes a traditional tea ceremony, and ends with you enjoying the most delicious Moroccan food you will have during your time in Morocco 🙂

A calligraphy workshop in Marrakech offers a hands-on experience in Arabic calligraphy, focusing on traditional techniques and beautiful script. Participants, from beginners to experienced artists, will learn various styles, potentially using traditional tools like a bamboo “qalam”. The workshops typically culminate in the creation of a personalized piece of art, blending cultural immersion with artistic skill development.

Spend a day immersed in authentic Berber culture in the stunning High Atlas Mountains. Accompanied by a local guide, enjoy a light trek through scenic landscapes, visit a traditional village to experience daily life, and savor a homemade lunch with mountain views. Learn the art of preparing traditional mint tea before returning to Marrakech in the afternoon.

In the afternoon, unlike the dunes of the Sahara Desert, which take hours to reach, the Agafay, with its stony Hamada-style desert, offers a stunning landscape to relax, unwind, and watch the setting sun – you’ll feel a world away from Marrakech even though it’s only a 45-minute drive. The adventure starts with a Camel ride…enjoy the most beautiful sunset over the Agafay Desert overlooking the High Atlas Mountains. Spend the night in a charming bivouac of a dozen oriental-inspired tents in the most beautiful corner of Morocco. Dotted amongst the desert landscape, the spacious and comfortable tents are decorated with uniquely sourced pieces and locally crafted artwork to form a harmonious whole with their surroundings, giving the impression of being on an expedition from another time.
